Vaqueros Knock Down Fullerton

Santa Barbara, CA - The Vaqueros won 11-6 over visiting Fullerton in a game played at UCSB Harder Stadium as part of a double header with the Pepperdine at UCSB match up.  The Gauchos took the Waves apart 16-3 and then SBCC followed suit over the Titans. The Vaqueros were up 7-1 at halftime on strong play through the midfield and by finishing their chances. Fullerton made a run in the second half to start an attempt at a comeback but SBCC held them off to get the win.

SBCC improved to 5-4 overall while Fullerton dropped to 1-7. The Vaqueros play their final game of the season at Marymount College in Palos Verdes on Saturday, April 24th, on track to finish with a winning season. It will be the second time the two teams play this year. SBCC was successful on February 12th in La Playa Stadium with a 17-3 win over Marymount.
